Today our school has been full of curiosity, investigation and hands-on learning as part of British Science Week. Pupils have been tackling the first of the daily science quizzes, began exploring clues in our school-wide scavenger hunt, and taking part in practical investigations and team challenges during their science lessons.
It has been fantastic to see so much curiosity, teamwork and enthusiasm across the school today. We cannot wait to see which tutor group and budding scientists take home the prizes! 🧪🌍

🔬✨ British Science Week Begins at Ysgol Bro Taf! ✨🔬
We’re excited to celebrate British Science Week 2026, and this year’s theme — Curiosity — is all about asking questions, exploring ideas, and discovering the world around us!
Throughout the week, pupils will be taking part in a range of curiosity‑themed activities during their science lessons, where they’ll investigate, experiment, and challenge their thinking. Tutor groups will also get involved with daily quizzes and challenges designed to spark imagination and teamwork.
At lunchtime, pupils will have the chance to watch live science demonstrations and even take part in some hands‑on experiments themselves. A great opportunity to see science in action!
