📘 Attendance Matters
Regular attendance is essential to your child’s learning and wellbeing. Pupils with attendance below 90% are classed as persistently absent—that’s at least 19 missed days and 95 hours of lost learning across the year.
We monitor attendance closely so we can support families early and work together to help every child thrive.
How parents/carers can help:
✔ Make sure your child attends every day, on time.
✔ Report illness through MCAS.
✔ Avoid term‑time holidays.
✔ Arrange appointments outside school hours where possible.
