It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school community. At Ysgol Bro Taf, we are dedicated to harnessing the power of education to enrich the lives of our learners and ensure the prosperity of the Pontypridd district, both now and for future generations.
Our goal is simple: to ensure every pupil has the chance to shine. We’re committed to creating a school where everyone feels supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
We’ve designed our curriculum to spark curiosity, challenge minds, and open doors to new opportunities. By focusing on exceptional teaching and a love of learning, we aim to nurture aspirations and confidence in every pupil.
Ysgol Bro Taf is built on the values of being brave, respectful, optimistic, trusting, aspirational, and having fun. We see ourselves as ONE community — where everyone works together, celebrates achievements, and grows as leaders. These values shape everything we do, helping us create a school filled with kindness, resilience, and a positive spirit.
I’m excited about the journey ahead and all we’ll achieve together. Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to building a strong partnership as we help every pupil thrive.
Warmest regards,
Mr Mark Thomas
