It is my pleasure to welcome you to our school community. At Ysgol Bro Taf, we are dedicated to harnessing the power of education to enrich the lives of our learners and ensure the prosperity of the Pontypridd district, both now and for future generations.
Our goal is simple: to ensure every pupil has the chance to shine. Weβre committed to creating a school where everyone feels supported, valued, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
Weβve designed our curriculum to spark curiosity, challenge minds, and open doors to new opportunities. By focusing on exceptional teaching and a love of learning, we aim to nurture aspirations and confidence in every pupil.
Ysgol Bro Taf is built on the values of being brave, respectful, optimistic, trusting, aspirational, and having fun. We see ourselves as ONE community β where everyone works together, celebrates achievements, and grows as leaders. These values shape everything we do, helping us create a school filled with kindness, resilience, and a positive spirit.
Iβm excited about the journey ahead and all weβll achieve together. Thank you for your continued support, and I look forward to building a strong partnership as we help every pupil thrive.
Warmest regards,
Mr Mark Thomas

π£Year 6 Parents/Carers of Maesycoed π£
Following the success of our recent coffee mornings at other local primary schools, we're delighted to invite Year 6 parent/carers to join us for an informal coffee morning at Maesycoed primary school.
This relaxed session is a great opportunity to meet our Head of Middle School, hear a little more about the transition to secondary school, and ask any questions or raise any queries you may have in a small, friendly group setting.
Come along for a chat, a coffee, and the chance to connect with us ahead of the next exciting step for your child.
